Telangana TDP leaders asked why the irrigation minister failed to comment when YSR Congress president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy opposed the Palamuru project.
Training their guns on the TRS government and irrigation minister T Harish Rao, Telangana TDP leaders today asked why Rao failed to comment when YSR Congress president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy opposed the Palamuru lift irrigation project.
In a joint press conference, Errabelli Dayakar Rao and V Pratap Reddy alleged that TRS government did nothing except tap phones during the last one year. If the call data of Harish Rao was checked, he would have to go to jail, they said.
Pratap Reddy asked TRS ministers Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Mahender Reddy to desist from commenting against Chandrababu Naidu, and warned them to control their tongues.
Errabelli demanded a white paper on the works taken up for the welfare of the dalits by KCR in the past one year. He said that the TDP would launch an agitation on the failures of the TRS government in every constituency.
In another development, TRS leaders alleged that all options for Chandrababu Naidu were closed, and that he would have to go to jail in the note-for-vote case.
TRS MLAs Jeevan Reddy and MLC Ramulu Nayak asked why the BJP was not supporting Naidu if it was of the view that there was no fault of the TDP.
They said that if Chandrababu Naidu had the courage he should demand a CBI inquiry.
The TRS leaders alleged that the TDP leaders were hatching a conspiracy to create a disturbance in the city. (NSS)
