A delegation of TDP leaders on Tuesday called on Governor E S L Narasimhan seeking his intervention to stop the proposed shifting of the Telangana secretariat to Erragadda.
Speaking to media persons after meeting the Governor, Telangana TDP president L Ramana said that the TDP had urged the Governor to prevent Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao from shifting the secretariat to Erragadda and the Chest Hospital to Vikarabad.
He said that the state government's decision was illogical, and that the Governor should exercise his powers to prevent misuse of public funds.
Ramana said that the TDP would approach the courts if required on the issue, and would also launch a massive agitation against the move. (INN)
