The much-talked-about Telangana Thalli statue was unveiled today in the Secretariat premises.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy unveiled the statue in the presence of thousands of people who gathered to mark the occasion.
The 20-foot bronze statue is adorned with beads, a necklace, a nose ring, a green saree, earrings and bracelets, and holds rice, jowar and sajja in its hands.
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar, Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukender Reddy, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, ministers and senior officials from various departments were present at the colourful event.
