CM Appeals For Peace In Seemandhra
Kiran Kumar Reddy appeals to Samaikyandhra activists not to resort to violence to express their anger against the Centre's decision to split the state.
Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, on Thursday, appealed to Samaikyandhra activists not to resort to violence to express their anger against the Centre's decision to split the state.
The Chief Minister said that activists should not damage public or private property. He also condemned the destruction of statues of national leaders.
Meanwhile, he directed DGP V Dinesh Reddy, Chief Secretary Dr. P K Mohanty and District Collectors to take steps for the maintenance of law and order across the state, especially in the Seemandhra region. He also asked the police to show restraint in dealing with the situation. (INN)
