Telangana Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy today released the grades of the second-year Intermediate students of the state.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister revealed that in total, 4,515,85 students had passed the exams on the basis of their second-year Inter exam results.
"Out of the 4,515,85 students who have passed, 2,28,754 are girls and 2,22,831 are boys. While 1,04,886 students have gotten the 'A' grade, 61,887 have secured the 'B' grade, and 1,08,093 have gotten the 'C' grade. Students who had backlogs in certain papers were given the minimum passing mark of 35%. Private students and those who had failed their first-year exams have also been given 35% marks. All students were given full marks for their practicals," she said.
Reddy urged the students to check their results online (they can be found
here. Alternatively, they can be accessed by visiting http://examresults.ts.nic.in, or http://results.cgg.gov.in). She also assured the students that their mark sheets would be issued soon.
Meanwhile, students can call a toll-free number, 040 - 24600110, to complain about their grades or to request mark revisions. The government had already stated that those students unsatisfied with their grades would be able to retake the second-year exams for grade revision after the pandemic situation settled further.
