Intermediate Exam Results Announced

Minister for Education Sabitha Indra Reddy today released the results of the Intermediate first and second year examinations.

Speaking to the media after releasing the results, Reddy said that a total of 9,07,393 students including both first and second year students appeared for the examinations held last month, and that 5,91,836 passed. The first year pass percent was 63.32, and that of the second year was 67.82, she said.

Girls outshone boys this year too - 72.33% of the girls passed the Intermediate first year exams as against 54.25% of the boys. The pass percentage for girls in the second year was 75.28 while that for boys was 59.21.

In the first year results, Medchal Malkangiri district topped with 76% of students from the district passing, followed by Hanumakonda with 74%. In the second year results, too, the Medchal Malkajgiri district topped, with 78%, with Kumuram Bheem - Asifabad district in the second place with 77%.

The results are available on tsbie.cgg.gov.in, results.cgg.gov.in and examresults.ts.nic.in.

The minister said that the advanced supplementary exams would be held from August 1 to 10 in two sessions, and that the practical examinations would be held from July 26 to 30.
