Speaking on the matter, Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar thanked Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and said that the funds would be spent on developing and improving basic facilities and infrastructure across Telangana's rural pockets.
"KCR's idea is to develop the villages and to give them a facelift by spending adequate funds on rural development. Our government has always been deeply committed to the cause of social welfare. Under the guidance of our CM, we have been supporting schemes like the Palle Pragathi, Pattana Pragathi, and other welfare programs," he stated.
"Further, pensions provided to various disadvantaged demographics, KCR Kits for pregnant women, and comprehensive farmer welfare programs, for instance, have played a big role in improving the life of the people. Many villages have gotten tractors, trolleys and tanks. Basic amenities and sanitation facilities have also been improved. We hope to be able to develop rural Telangana further," the minister added.
