Primary Education Minister Dr. S Sailajanath, on Sunday, stated that the Samaikyandhra supporters would never allow the Centre to divide the Andhra Pradesh.
Talking to reporters, Sailajanath dismissed speculations that the Congress Working Committee would take a decision in favour of Telangana and forcefully reinforced that the Seemandhra leaders would never allow the division of Andhra Pradesh.
To mount pressure on the Centre, he announced that a mass public meeting will be held in Anantapur two days before the CWC meeting.
Sailajanath said that the Anantapur meeting will demand the Centre to keep Andhra Pradesh united. When asked about Minor Irrigtion Minister T G Venkatesh's
demand for Rayalaseema State, he said that Venkateh was a complete supporter of the Samaikhyandhra's cause. (INN)
