Telangana MPs Await Speaker Decision
MP Manda Jagannadham has said that the Telangana MPs would announce their future course after Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar took a decision on their resignations.

Talking to mediapersons after emerging from the MPs' meeting convened at MP Madhu Yaskhi's residence in Banjara Hills, Jagannadham said that the Telangana MPs would meet in New Delhi on Monday, and announce their action plan once Meira Kumar arrived at a decision on their resignations.
Jagannadham pointed out that the Lok Sabha Speaker had so far not consulted the Telangana leaders on their resignations.
The meeting of the Telangana Congress MPs on Sunday assumes importance in the wake of monsoon session of Parliament set to begin on Monday.
Jagannadham asserted that the MPs are committed to the formation of Telangana state, and will not withdraw their resignations until the Centre announces a clear decision on the separate state.
He also condemned rumours which have appeared in a section of the media that Congress leaders are bowing down to pressure tactics and are considering withdrawing their resignations.
"We are ready to sacrifice anything for the cause of statehood, and there is no question of withdrawing our resignations," the Nagarkurnool MP said.
He also disclosed that the Telangana Congress leaders will also meet Congress in-charge of AP affairs Ghulam Nabi Azad on Monday in New Delhi, and have discussions with him on the issue.
The MPs attended the meeting included Madhu Yaskhi, Ponnam Prabhakar, G Vivek, Rajaiah, Balram Nayak and Rajya Sabha Member K Kesava Rao.
This clause facilitates the inclusion of Hyderabad in the Sixth Zone.
Talking to mediapersons after a delegation of Telugu Desam Telangana Forum members submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy at his Camp Office on the issue, Reddy criticized the state government's decision to go ahead with the SI recruitment test, thereby hitting the aspirations of Telangana aspirants.
"Though the government can solve the problem and postpone it, why it is going ahead in conducting the examination on August 13?" the TDP leader questioned.
"The government's stubborn attitude on going ahead with recruitment hints that it has conspired with the Seemandhra leaders to protect their interests," Reddy alleged.
Warning the state government of serious consequences if it goes ahead with the recruitment examinations, the TDP leader said his party's Telangana Forum members would intensify their agitation against the government until it gets the controversial Clause 14F deleted from the Presidential Order.
The delegation submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister under the leadership of forum convener Errabelli Dayakar Rao. (INN)
