Medical Education Minister Kondru Murali Mohan, on Saturday, called ministers from the Telangana region highly corrupt.
Addressing a press conference at the Congress Legislature Party office, Kondru said that several ministers and leaders from Telangana have been involved in corrupt activities on a large scale. As an example, he alleged that former minister Komatireddy Venkatreddy had made a fortune out of the Jalayagnam project.
Kondru also condemned leaders from Telangana for criticising Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy. Referring to recent statements made by various leaders, he said that while the statement made by Union Minister S Jaipal Reddy does not match his stature, Karimnagar MP Ponnam Prabhakar was not qualified to speak about the CM. Further, he said that TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao had no right to comment against Kiran Kumar Reddy. (INN)
