Vimalakka Supports T-Cong Fast

THe T-leader demands that all people's representatives in the Telangana region submit their resignations if the SKC report goes against bifurcation.
Hyderabad | 27th December 2010
Telangana Joint Programmes Organising Committee leader Vimalakka on Monday expressed her total solidarity and cooperation with the Congress MPs from Telangana who have launched their hunger strike demanding lifting of all police cases against students and agitators at New MLA Quarters.

Talking to media persons at the site of the hunger strike, Vimalakka demanded that the state government immediately withdraw all police cases as well as the Central Paramilitary Forces deployed in the state.

She also demanded that all people's representatives in the Telangana region submit their resignations from their posts if the Srikrishna Commission's recommendations are against separate Telangana statehood.

Meanwhile, MP Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy said, "We are not bothered about our posts, and we have no wish to cling on to them. We have not resigned from the posts since our vote becomes necessary if the centre introduces a bill on a separate Telangana and it comes to vote. We are ready to resign from our posts if the Justice Srikrishna Commission's recommendations go against the demand for a separate Telangana state."
