Congressmen Clash At Bhu Bharathi Meeting In Gadwal
They protested as only MLA Krishna Mohan Reddy was invited on stage, while former MLA Sampath Kumar and ex-ZP chairperson Saritha were left out.

The Jogulamba Gadwal district administration today organised an awareness seminar on the new Telangana Bhu Bharati (Record of Rights in Land) Act, 2024, in Gadwal, the district headquarters.
During the seminar, differences among Congress members flared up once again. Supporters of former MLAs and former ZP chairpersons protested in front of the State Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and Nagarkurnool MP Mallu Ravi.
The minister was present as the chief guest at the program, but the party activists protested after Gadwal MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy was invited to the stage while former Alampur MLA Sampath Kumar and former Gadwal ZP chairperson Saritha Thirupathaiah were not invited.
Supporters of Saritha alleged that Krishna Mohan Reddy was claiming to still be a BRS MLA despite joining the Congress after being elected as the MLA, and demanded that he wear the party scarf and go on stage, or leave. They shouted slogans against the MLA while he was speaking.
They also complained that they were being insulted repeatedly.
From the beginning of the seminar until the revenue minister spoke, the activists continuously interrupted the speeches.
Mallu Ravi tried to pacify the activists, but they did not listen, and instead asked him why those who had worked for the party were being sidelined while new members were being given opportunities.
A verbal altercation took place between the police and Saritha's supporters for some time. Finally, the police pacified them and sent them away, resolving the issue.
Later, the minister spoke to Saritha and inquired about the reasons for the conflict.
