Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will reportedly visit Yadadri Bhongir district's Vasalamarri village tomorrow (August 4).
While there, it is expected that he will first have a community lunch and then convene a gram sabha meeting at Vasalamarri where he will interact with the locals of the village. He will also visit a Dalit area of the village and speak with the residents.
The meeting has caught the attention of many as on an earlier trip to the village, the CM had announced sops for the development of the region. He had promised the people that he would keep touring the village till it was developed.
The leader had eaten lunch with villagers on the occasion and had assured them that he would sanction developmental funds for the construction of free two-bedroom houses for the poor, better roads, a dumping yard, a cemetery, and a community hall.
During this second visit, it is expected that the CM, along with a group of officials, will take stock of the progress of the aforementioned development programs in Vasalamarri. It is likely that he minister will offer more funds for the welfare of the people in the village.
District officials are busy making the necessary arrangements for tomorrow's program.
This trip will come right after the TRS supremo's
visit to Nagarjuna Sagar yesterday. During the visit, he had announced sops of Rs 150 crore for the constituency and 15 irrigation projects for Nalgonda district. He had also said that the Dalit Bandhu scheme would be implemented in the district soon.
Many in the Opposition are sure to see these trips, conducted right before the upcoming Huzurabad by-election, as just a way to gain public support.
