Telangana advocates have decided to launch an agitation protesting the allotment of Andhra judges to Telangana district courts. And judges and staff of the courts are expected to participate in the agitation, too.
At a joint meeting of the Bar Association of High Court, Telangana All Courts Advocates JAC, Telangana Judges Association, Telangana State Judicial Employees Association and Telangana Law Officers' Association on Sunday, lawyers called for a boycott of district courts across the State from Monday.
The boycott will last one week, and a "Chalo High Court" will be organized on June 13.
The court employees have decided to extend solidarity with advocates by wearing black badges. And judges have decided to support their protest by going on en masse leave.
