Congress leader and MLA T Jayaprakash Reddy, better known as Jagga Reddy, today wrote letters to the top brass of the Telangana unit of the party providing updates about the work he had been doing for its "development".
He wrote letters to AICC state in-charge Manickam Tagore, TPCC head and MP A Revanth Reddy, AICC secretaries Bose Raju and Srinivasan, and TPCC working president Mahesh Kumar Goud.
In his letter, Jagga Reddy provided details of the "regular works" he had been overseeing in his constituency, Sangareddy. He stated that he had been allocating 20 days of each month to his constituency and using the remaining ten days to handle party affairs in the entire district.
The MLA said that of the ten days he had allotted for party work, he would set aside four days to tour Khammam, Bhongir, Warangal and Karimnagar to hold meetings with the local leaders of the constituencies. He also said that he would hold public meetings in two municipalities of his constituency for six days, and added that he would find out about the problems being faced by the public and then take steps towards solving the same.
Meanwhile, TPCC chief Revanth Reddy has landed himself in quite the soup after making some shocking allegations against Labour Minister Ch Malla Reddy - the leader had recently called the latter a "land grabber" and a "corrupt" politician at a public meeting.
This had prompted the angered minister to
challenge the TPCC chief to prove the allegations. He had even claimed that if any of the allegations were found to be true, he would resign from his post.
