HC Asks Government About Anti-Coronavirus Steps

The High Court asked for this information while dealing with a public interest litigation field by Hyderabad-based advocate Rapolu Bhaskar.
Hyderabad | 15th April 2020
The Telangana High Court today asked the state government about the steps initiated by it contain the spread of the coronavirus.

It asked the state government how many red zones had been set up in the state, and the details of the total number of tests conducted on suspects and the availability of test kits.

The HC asked for this information while dealing with a public interest litigation field by city-based advocate Rapolu Bhaskar.

In his petition, Bhaskar urged the HC to issue orders to send migrant labourers to their native places, and for the establishment of Rythu Bazars in the various colonies of the state.

He also urged the HC to issue orders for the setting up of special coronacirus treatment centres in all the districts of the state.

The HC later adjourned the matter to April 20.
