Governor Pays Tribute To Subhash Chandra Bose
Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan today paid rich tributes to Indian freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary.

Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan today paid her tributes to prominent Indian freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose on the occasion of his birth anniversary which was observed as "Parakram Diwas" across the country.
At a special function at the Raj Bhavan’s Darbar Hall, the Governor offered rich floral tributes to a portrait of the controversial Indian nationalist, and lauded his efforts and hard work in fighting for the nation's independence.
"I am delighted to hear the Government of India announce that the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, on 23rd January, will, from now on, be celebrated as Parakram Diwas. This is sure to inspire the people of India, especially the youth, to act with fortitude in the face of adversity. Such a celebration will also install a deep sense of patriotism in the people of the nation. And that will indeed be the greatest tribute to Netaji," she said.
Soundararajan reiterated her opinion, and called upon the people to resolve to follow the patriotic ideals of Netaji in building India into a formidable country to truly honour the celebrated freedom fighter.
Various other prominent leaders of the country, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, also remembered Bose on the occasion, and praised his efforts to fight against British imperialism.
