The Telangana government has finally taken a decision to regularize the contract employees in the State.
The services of the contract employees working from June 2, 2014, will be regularized, the government said in an order issued on Friday.
However, the government said that the services of those who have been absent from services for a long time would not be regularized, though employees working in the education and welfare departments might be exempt from this rule, the GO said.
The government has decided to fill up the vacancies in various departments as backlog posts if reservation problems arise.
