Government Gives Rs 25 Lakh To Slain Soldier's Kin
The Telangana government today announced that it would give ex gratia aid of Rs 25 lakh and a 2BHK house to the kin of deceased soldier M Parusharam.

The Telangana government today extended ex gratia aid of Rs 25 lakh to the family of slain soldier M Parusharam, a native of Mahbubnagar district, who passed away on December 24 after boulders fell on him while he was on duty in Leh.
The government also gave the family a 2BHK house in Mahbubnagar town.
Tourism Minister V Srinivas Goud, who was present at the RGIA to receive the remains of the soldier which were flown into Hyderabad on Sunday night, made the announcements regarding the same.
Goud praised Parusharam for his commitment to the nation, and reassured the latter's family that the state government would honour his memory, and stand by them.
"Parusharam, the primary breadwinner in his family, laid down his life while serving his country. To honour his sacrifice, we will support his family, and will take steps to secure financial support for them from the Sainik Welfare Fund and the Centre," the minister said.
MP Ranjith Reddy and MLA Mahesh Reddy were also present at the airport.
The soldier, who had joined the army in 2005, is survived by his wife Santhi Bavi and two children, eight-year-old Bhargavi and six-year-old Kunal. His last rites were held at Guvvalakunta village of Gandeed mandal on Sunday.
