Congress MP Palwai Govardhan Reddy claimed that Telangana will be a reality by next week.
Speaking to media personnel, Palwai said that the Telangana bill would be passed in the Lok Sabha on February 18, and in the Rajya Sabha the next day. Therefore, the formation process of Telangana state will be completed next week.
Palwai also demanded a life-time ban on expelled Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal and TDP MP Venugopal Reddy for their
unruly behaviour in the Lok Sabha during the introduction of the Telangana bill on Thursday.
Further, he said that the TDP MPs from the both the regions had attacked each other in the Parliament and the party was wrongly blaming the Congress MPs from the Telangana region.
The Rajya Sabha MP also condemned Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy's continuance in his post. He alleged that Kiran Kumar Reddy is clearing controversial files to earn money.
He asked the officials to be cautious with the Chief Minister and to remember the fate of some officials who supported had Jagan Mohan Reddy. Palwai also said that the Telangana government would order a probe against Kiran Kumar Reddy and he would land in jail for his decisions. (INN)
