Trying to allay the fears of parents over EAMCET 2016 (Engineering, Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test) in the State, Telangana State Council of Higher Education Chairman Papi Reddy today said that it would be conducted by May 15.
Talking to media persons on Saturday, Reddy said that the schedule of the test would be announced in a couple of days. The State government was studying the Supreme Court's verdict on NEET, he added.
The State government had also decided not to conduct exams in private colleges and educational institutions in future, he declared. EAMCET 2016 would be conducted in government colleges and educational institutions, and elaborate arrangements will be made for it, he stated. Students who were to appear for the exam in private colleges can get new hall tickets online, Papi Reddy added.
Reddy also said that the previously announced exams would be conducted as per the schedule already announced.
