Telangana Draft Voter List Of 3,03,56,665 Released

State Chief Electoral Officer Shashank Goel today released the draft voters' list comprising a total of 3,03,56,665 voters.

Goel gave time to the people make objections and appeals to correct their names and details till the end of November, and said that the final list would be released on January 5, 2022.

The CEO conducted an all-party meeting at his office and discussed the amendments to the list. The various political parties gave their versions to the CEO to see that eligible people got into the list, and asked him to take measures to avoid lapses in including people at the rural level.

Of the total of 3,03,56,665 voters in the draft voters' list, there are 1,52,57,690 male voters, 1,50,97,292 female and 1,603 other.

The list also has 14,501 service voters, 2,742 NRIs and 5,01,836 physically challenged persons.

The CEO also said that the draft voters' list of the Huzurabad constituency would be announced on November 6, and that people could make objections and appeals till December 6.
