Telangana DGP Warns Those Accepting KiKi Challenge

Mahender Reddy said that the police would take into custody both the challenger and the dancer.
Hyderabad | 2nd August 2018
Telangana Director General of Police M Mahender Reddy spoke seriously on the KiKi challenge today and exhorted the youth not to accept such challenges.

He also warned people of severe action if they performed the KiKi dance alongside moving vehicles. He said that the police would take into custody both the challenger and the dancer.

He said that the police were already keeping a vigil on the social media for KiKi challenges. The department had also alerted the various district police officials in this regard, he said.

"It has become a fashion to accept the KiKi challenge, and several youngsters are dancing on the roads after jumping out of a moving car or auto leading to danger to both those indulging in the challenge and other vehicles on the road. Strict penal action will be taken against anyone endangering the life of people through this activity," he said.
