Telangana Decision By July End?

According to Digvijay Singh, the CWC is likely to meet before the end of this month, and a final decision on statehood for Telangana will be taken then.

AICC general secretary and in-charge of AP affairs Digvijay Singh, on Saturday, claimed that the Congress Working Committee would take a final call on the Telangana issue by the end of this month.

Digvijay Singh said that the CWC is likely to meet before the end of this month, and that a final decision on statehood for the Telangana region would be taken then. He said there is no need for any more consultations on the issue.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, Deputy CM Damodar Rajanarasimha and PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana stayed back in New Delhi, and held further talks with the Congress High Command on Telangana. (INN)
