Telangana Decision After Jaipur Session: Ponguleti

AICC Secretary Ponguleti claims that the Centre would announce its decision on Telangana after the AICC's meeting this weekend.

AICC Secretary and MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy on Tuesday claimed that the Centre would announce its decision on Telangana after the AICC's meeting being held at Jaipur this weekend.

Talking to reporters at the Assembly premises, Ponguleti appealed to Congress leaders of all regions to abide by the decision taken by the Centre on the statehood issue.

He said that leaders, instead of making statements against each other, must wait for the Centre's final announcement on Telangana. He said that statements in the media would only widen the gaps and differences among leaders, and said that this is not good for the party. (INN)
