Congress Stages Dharnas All Over State, Warns KCR
The Congress held protests across Telangana today protesting the physical attack on its Makthal MLA Ch Rammohan Reddy by Atchampet TRS MLA Guvvala Balaraju.

Congress leaders organized protest programs across Telangana today in front of the various District Collectorates protesting the physical attack on Makthal Congress MLA Ch Rammohan Reddy by Atchampet TRS MLA Guvvala Balaraju a couple of days ago at a Mahabubnagar Zilla Parishad meeting.
Participating in a dharna at Mahabubnagar as part of the protests, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) chief Uttam Kumar Reddy alleged that the suicides of the farmers in the State were increasing by the day due to the "criminal neglect and apathy" of the TRS government towards farmers.
Talking about the "anti-people policies of the TRS government", Reddy lamented that the people were facing severe drought and drinking water scarcity in the State.
He also said that the China tour of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao would not be useful to the State in any manner.
Former union minister Sudini Jaipal Reddy, former minister D K Aruna, and MLAs G Chinna Reddy, Ch Rammohan Reddy, Sampath and Vamshichand Reddy also joined the protest, held at Telangana Chowrasta.
On the occasion, they raised "Save Farmers" and "Save Democracy" slogans.
In Hyderabad, former minister Danam Nagender warned the TRS leaders to behave properly, failing which they would have to face troubles after losing power.
Speaking at the Ranga Reddy District Collectorate at Lakdi-ka-Pul, Nagender alleged that the TRS leaders were routinely harassing the Congress leaders, and were even physically attacking Congress MLAs now.
Nagender, too, asked whether it was useful for the Chief Minister to visit China at this juncture when that country's economy was in serious trouble and its stock markets were crashing.
Former ministers Ponnala Laxmaiah and P Sabitha Indra Reddy, former L B Nagar MLA D Sudheer Reddy and others, too, participated in the agitation, and made similar allegations.
Congress leaders tried lay siege to the Ranga Reddy District Collectorate at Lakdi-ka-Pul protesting the TRS government's "negligent" attitude towards farmers' problems and the attack on Rammohan Reddy.
The police intervened and arrested the participating Congress leaders and workers when they sat on the road bringing vehicular traffic in the arterial road to a halt.
In Khammam, TPCC working President Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and MLA Puvvada Ajay participated in the dharna. In the Karimnagar district, senior Congress leaders T Jeevan Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar and Duddilla Sridhar Babu, and DCC president Katakam Mrityunjayam participated in the maha dharna at Vemulavada.
In the Medak district, Congress activists staged a dharna in front of the Collectorate office. Senior leaders V Hanumanth Rao, Sunitha Laxma Reddy, Jagga Reddy and others joined the protest. The police arrested them and whisked them away to the local police station. However, they were released later.
In the Adilabad district, Congress leaders staged a dharna in Bellampally.
