The Telangana Congress will be launching a massive agitation on the Polavaram Project issue in the next 10 days.

Speaking to media persons in the Assembly premises on Sunday, Congress MP V Hanumantha Rao said that the Telangana Congress would also organise protests against the power crisis and the rising prices of essential commodities.

He said that the Congress would certainly oppose the Polavaram Bill in the Rajya Sabha.

He advised Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to take the Polavaram issue to the people's court rather than to a regular court.

VHR said that the Telangana Congress would soon announce its schedule for the agitation. (INN)
