Congress MLA G Vivek Appears Before ED

Chennuru MLA G Vivek Venkataswamy, who is facing hawala and FEMA cases, today appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the city.

Chennuru MLA Vivek Venkataswamy, of the Congress, who is facing hawala and FEMA cases, today appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the city.

The ED is investigating the transactions of Visakha Industries and Vigilance Securities. A case has been registered that transactions worth Rs 100 crore had taken place between Visakha Industries and Vigilance Security.

The ED is also investigating transactions detected during the recent Assembly elections between the two entities, and a case was registered based on bank transactions worth Rs 8 crore.

For the unversed, in November 2023, ED officials conducted searches in Visakha Industries, and identified Vigilance Security Services as a bogus company. Documents showing assets worth crores of rupees were seized during the searches.
