Raising a banner of revolt, yet another Congress leader, Vakulabharanam Krishnamohan, a member of the BC Commission, resigned from the party.
He sent his resignation letter to the party president Uttam Kumar Reddy, and expressed displeasure at the AICC for denying him any key post in the new TPCC body that was announced.
Krishnamohan accused the state leaders for suppressing leaders like him who were working with utmost commitment.
"The TPCC is ignoring seniors and giving priority only to the new leaders," he fumed.
This comes as a jolt to the party's state leadership, which is reportedly convincing important leaders to stay back.
He also said that he would soon announce his future plan of action, and that he was likely to join the ruling TRS.
The Congress had recently suffered the loss of another MLA, Chittem Rammohan Reddy of Makhtal, who defected to the TRS.
