Slamming Governor E S L Narasimhan for praising Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for his "good governance", Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Vice-President Mallu Ravi claimed that the former's praise was misplaced as people of the State were facing too many problems under KCR's rule.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan on Saturday, Ravi claimed that the funds from the KCR-led government had failed to procure funds from the Centre on most projects.
Ravi also claimed that the loan waivers given to farmers were insufficient and unfairly designed. Apart from this, the government redirected farmer subsidies from Centre to other projects.
He urged the Governor to persuade the State government to be more proactive and the Central government to release funds for farmers and irrigation projects at the earliest.
Speaking on CLP leader K Jana Reddy's positive remarks on the TRS' rule recently, Ravi said that the former made the statement only on the development works going on in Nalgonda, and not in general.
