TPCC official spokesperson Konagala Mahesh demanded that the state government cancel the ECET examination that was conducted on May 6 "in a hopeless manner".
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) official spokesperson Konagala Mahesh today demanded that the state government cancel the ECET examination that was conducted on May 6 "in a hopeless manner".
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan on Monday, Konagala said that the parents of the students had doubts over the way that the examination was conducted. The government had conducted the examination online in a questionable manner, starting it five hours late to start with. And at some places the examination was conducted offline, and the haphazard way that it was all done overall made people lose faith in the education and examination system in the state, he said.
Many parents also strongly felt that the examination paper was leaked, he said.
He alleged that the TSCHE Chairman Papi Reddy had given the contract to a vendor of his choice without inviting tenders and without the knowledge of the education minister.
