CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka termed the BRS government allotting the toll collection lease of the ORR project for a very less price to a private firm, as a big scam.
Coming down heavily on the BRS government over the allotment of the toll collection lease of the ORR project for a very less price to a private firm, CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka today termed it as a big scam.
Given as the project was leased out for 30 years, he told the BRS leaders that the people of the State had given them the power to rule Telangana for only five years and not 30, and demanded that the State government cancel the ORR project lease agreement immediately.
Addressing a road corner meeting at Bata Singaram of the Ibrahimpatnam Assembly constituency as part of his ongoing padayatra, Vikramarka said that the State government should not sell the government lands located around the State capital.
He also demanded that the State government return all the lands acquired by it from the farmers in the name of the establishment of a pharma city.
Vikramarka also urged the people to not buy the plots being sold by the HMDA after developing layouts over assigned lands. He promised to return all the assigned lands to the landless poor after returning to power.
He also alleged that the State government had forcibly taken back 10,000 acres of assigned lands distributed by the previous Congress government in the Ibrahimpatnam Assembly constituency. He said that the State government had ignored the ideals of B R Ambedkar to ensure social, political and economic equality, and demanded that the government return the 10,000 acres if it wanted to follow Ambedkar. He promised that the Congress would return the lands to their owners after coming to power in the State.
He also promised to provide a financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh to each poor family for building a house, fresh ration cards, KG to PG free education, and domestic gas cylinders for just Rs 500 apiece.
