Telangana Congress spokesman D Sravan today accused the TRS government of offering the rule of the Devil and making a mockery of democracy.
At a media conference, he sought to know why only Nizamabad MP Kavitha had been allotted a bullet-proof car. When there were 18 MPs from the State, why was only the Chief Minister's daughter feeling the need for such security, he asked.
The State had no functioning law and order, and women could not safely get onto the roads and visit the bazaars as the rape and murder of Sruthi showed, he alleged.
Sravan also alleged that KCR had failed miserably to keep his election promises including transforming Hyderabad into a global city, building a new Secretariat, shifting the Osmania Hospital, creating level separators, offering 12% reservations for Muslims, building double bedroom houses for the poor, making the Old City another Istanbul and another Dallas, bringing Godavari waters to Hyderabad, launching Hyderabad Metro Rail and others.
Sravan also alleged that the ruling Party was encouraging defections and luring leaders of other Parties, too, with false promises.
