Chief Minister Revanth Reddy today sought four weeks to respond to the notice issued by the Delhi police in connection with Union Home Minister Amit Shah's doctored video case.
Reddy's advocate Soumya Gupta sent an email to the IFSO unit of the Delhi police today replying to the notice.
The CM stated that he had nothing to do with the case, and that he had not shared the video.
He also that he was also not managing the Twitter account of the INC Telangana, and was using only two Twitter accounts (the CMO Telangana account and his personal account).
For the unversed, in the Amit Shah doctored video case, Revanth Reddy along with four other Congress leaders - Shiva Kumar Ambala, Asma Tasleem, Satish Manne and Naveen Pettem - were summoned by the Delhi police under Sections 91 and 160 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPc), and asked to appear on before them May 1.
While the CM asked for a four-week extension claiming he was busy in election campaigning, the other Congress leaders who have received the notices requested the Delhi police to give them another 15 days to respond on the matter.
