Telangana CEO Shashank Goel Transferred

The Chief Electoral Officer of Telangana Dr Shashank Goel was transferred by the union government today.

The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Telangana Dr Shashank Goel was transferred by the union government today.

He was transferred as an Additional Secretary of the Union Labour Ministry.

Goel is a 1990 batch IAS officer, and had taken charge as CEO of the state in May 2021.

He had earlier also worked as the Principal Secretary of the Labour and Industries department of the state, and as the Resident Commissioner of Telangana Bhavan for two years in Delhi.
