Hyderabad | 11th January 2011
Communist Party of India State Secretary K Narayana on Tuesday stated that the party would launch agitations across the district headquarters in the state demanding introduction of separate Telangana bill in Parliament in the budget session.

Talking to media persons, Narayana alleged that Congress was playing games with Telangana people by not introducing a bill in the Parliament even after the submission of Justice B N Srikrishna Commission report to the centre.

He said that the Left party leaders would intensify their agitation for Telangana state until the centre introduced the bill.

The veteran Communist leader said that the party would picket District Collectorates on January 24th with its activists, and block all national highways.

He demanded that the centre made its stand clear on Telangana statehood immediately, and added that the inordinate delay in announcement of Telangana would led to law and order problem in the region.

Narayana also demanded the immediate withdrawal of central paramilitary forces from Telangana region as there was no crisis in the region.
