Former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav's son, Bihar Assembly opposition leader and key RJD leader Tejaswi Prasad Yadav today made a courtesy call on Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao at Pragathi Bhavan.
Ministers K T Ramam Rao and other TRS leaders were present.
Along with Yadav, former Bihar minister Abdul Bari Siddiqui, former MLC Sunil Singh and former MLA Bhola Yadav too met the CM, according to a release from the CMO.
Speculation is rife that the meeting was about the much-hyped third front proposed at the national level by the TRS supremo against the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre.
KCR has recently been hyperactive on the front.
The CM had recently raised a banner of revolt against the BJP government for failing to procure paddy and rice from the state.
And just last week, leaders of the Left parties had also called on the CM and discussed a "BJP Mukth Bharat" to defeat the NDA government in future elections.
Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan, former CM Manik Sarkar, CPM national leader Sitaram Yechury, state CPM leader T Veerabhadram, state CPI leaders D Raja, Chada Venkat Reddy and Palla Venkat Reddy, and others had met KCR at Pragathi Bhavan as part of that meeting.
The CPM leaders had stated that they would fight against the BJP government in the Centre by joining hands with any parties including the TRS in the future elections.
KCR has also been in touch with other leaders to unite with them against the "lopsided" policies of the Modi government for suppressing farmers. Recently, he also called on Tamil Nadu CM Stalin when he visited Chennai.
