Over 4.5 Lakh Appear For APTET

The second Andhra Pradesh Teachers' Eligibility Test (APTET) was successfully conducted across the state, on Sunday.

While 67.82% of the candidates appeared for Paper-I, nearly 96.86% attended Paper-II. Of 81,957 candidates who applied for Paper-I, 55,584 appeared for the test at 362 centres.

Similarly, of 4,15,137 candidates who applied, 4,02,083 appeared for the Paper-II held at 1,772 centres across the state.

For Paper-I, the highest percentage of attendance was registered in Vizianagaram, at 95.57% while Karimnagar topped the list in Paper-II, with 98.06 % attendance. (INN)
