Minister for Education Sabitha Indra Reddy today said that the Telangana State Teachers Eligibility Test (TS TET) would be held on June 12 as per the schedule announced previously, and that there was no question of rescheduling the test.
Responding to a tweet forwarded by IT and Industries Minister K T Rama Rao, who received the tweet from a candidate urging the postponement of the proposed TET as the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) was conducting one of its recruitment exams on the same day, Reddy said that all the necessary arrangements had been made for the TET, and that it was not possible to postpone the exam at this juncture.
"The date of June 12 was finalised after the schedules of many other exams were taken into consideration and thorough consultation with the officials concerned. Now the TET will be held as per the decided schedule," she said.
