Telangana TDP president L Ramana today said that the party was waging a war against the ruling TRS to free the state from the clutches of KCR's family.
Addressing a gathering at NTR Trust Bhavan today, Ramana said that the people were expressing their ire at the government's failures and questioning the TRS candidates who were visiting their villages. This was the first time that voters are raising their voices against the ruling party for failing to address the problems of the villagers, the TDP state chief said.
Ramana said that during the TDP rule, all sections of the people got opportunities in politics and justice. But four crore people were now feeling disenfranchised due to the family rule of KCR where the government was controlled by four persons.
On another topic, Ramana said that the party had agreed to leave the Jagityal Assembly seat as part of the seat-sharing agreement, for the sake of unity among the Mahakutami parties. And earlier, ex-MLA Nandishwar Goud along with over 2,000 supporters joined the TDP in the presence of Ramana and other senior TDP leaders. Ramana welcomed Goud by wrapping a party shawl around him.
