Senior Telugu Desam Party leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy, on Saturday, said that his party would lend complete support to the bandh called by Telangana Students Joint Action Committee over the demands of postponing the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission Group-1 preliminary examinations.
Talking to media persons at the NTR Trust Bhavan, Nagam said that the government should concede to the JAC's demands and announce a quota of 42% for candidates hailing from Telangana, in recruitments for Group-1 qualifiers. He also sought the suspension of APPSC Chairman Venkatarami Reddy.
He said that the Congress government in the state has failed on all fronts. Nagam charged the government of being the most inefficient in the state.
The TDP leader expressed his anguish at the situation in the state where even examinations have to be held under the shadow of guns.

Its similar to situation about caste quotas. The indian politicians learned very well from the britishers about divide and rule. They never digested about the infrastruture of britian hospitals, roads and educations institutions. Divide based on religion then caste then area wise. No one realised how the so called efficient people ( who has money and power, still wants the quota ) . The basic important thing is who ever wants to run bandhs to see some important aspects how people affected by these. Our democracy is extreme, it needs change.
