Telangana TDP Working President A Revanth Reddy today said that he would organize a farmer welfare protest march to address and highlight farmers' issues in the State.
Speaking at the general body meeting of the Party's State wing at NTR Trust Bhavan, chaired by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Revanth Reddy claimed that farmers' loans in Telangana were not being waived even two-and-a-half years after the TRS began ruling at the State.
He also accused the TRS government of deceiving the people by making false promises of giving free double bedroom houses and three acres of land for each Dalit family.
Another senior leader, Muthkupally Narasimhulu, too, accused the Chief Minister of failing to fulfill his promises, and slammed him for spending Rs. 300 crores on the construction of the Pragathi Bhavan (the CM's new camp office).
Claiming that the TDP was always striving for the poor, the Party leaders urged the people to support them during the upcoming elections.
