TDP To Give 30% Tickets To Youth

Telugu Desam Party N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday announced that his party would give 30% of its tickets in the next elections to youth.

Addressing a workshop of Telugu Yuvatha at NTR Trust Bhavan, Naidu said that the party would give importance to youth in the next elections.

He said that the party would also consider their nomination to important posts.

Describing youth as the future of the party and also of the state, he said that the TDP would encourage youth to enter politics to serve the people.

Speaking about YSR Congress Party president and Kadapa MP Jaganmohan Reddy, Chandrababu Naidu said that while a majority of people in the state do not have even 80 square yards of land, Jagan has been living a luxurious life in a palatial home with 80 rooms.

Naidu said that money accumulated by illegal means does not last long, and that therefore, Jagan and all other corrupt leaders would lose their money, too.

Naidu criticised the Congress and other parties for targeting him although he had made a clear declaration about his assets and other sources of income.

He also alleged the presence of several irregularities in the Polavaram project tender process, and demanded a thorough probe into it. (INN)
