TDP Not Averse To Tie-Up With TRS: Chandrababu Naidu

In a sensational comment in connection with the upcoming elections in Telangana, TDP boss and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that his party was not averse to contesting elections in alliance with the TRS in Telangana.

The TDP had wanted to fight the elections with the TRS, but the BJP was trying to scuttle these efforts fearing that the two Telugu states would get strengthened if the TDP and the TRS came together, Naidu alleged.

Naidu accused the Centre of continuously creating problems for the two states. He also asserted that the fight for getting Special Category Status for AP would continue whatever the hurdles be.

For the uninitiated, the TDP, Congress, TJS and CPI are now coming together in an alliance in Telangana to take on the TRS.
