TDP leader P Ashok Gajapathi Raju is most likely to be inducted into the Union Cabinet, which will take oath along with Prime-Minister-designate Narendra Modi at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Monday.
TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu called on Modi at the Gujarat Bhavan in New Delhi on Sunday and reportedly recommended the name of Vizianagaram MP Ashok Gajapathiraju for inclusion in the Union Cabinet as the TDP's representative.
During the 30-minute meeting, Naidu reportedly discussed a few issues related to the constitution of the Union Cabinet.
Sources say that Modi might induct 1 TDP MP into his cabinet in the first phase, and 2 more TDP MPs in the next phase when the cabinet would be expanded. (INN)
