Telangana TDP spokesperson Nannuri Narsireddy today demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao order a probe into allegations of corruption in the CMO, by a sitting judge.
Talking to the media, the TTDP spokesperson wondered why the Chief Minister was not taking action on the allegations against his PC Ajit Reddy, who had allegedly amassed crores of rupees by promising jobs to people.
Pointing out that the Chief Minister had announced a toll-free number and asked people to give a call if anyone demanded bribe, he said that the CM was remaining curiously tight-lipped on the allegations being levelled against his own staff in the CMO.
Telangana TDP politburo member Ravula Chandrashekar Reddy also chimed in on the corruption charges, asking KTR what action had been taken on the alleged collection of Rs 40 lakhs by some CMO officials promising jobs.
He also wanted to know why the TRS government was not initiating action when sand smuggling was going on unabated in the districts.
He said that the TRS government was indulging more in publicity and less in work.
