Telugu Desam Party senior leader and former minister Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu today said that the annual three-day Mahanadu program of the Party being conducted at Tirupati from May 27 to 29, would take stock of the bifurcation-related issues and the development of Andhra Pradesh.
Talking to reporters on Sunday, he said that for the first time after the bifurcation, TDP supremo and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had decided to conduct the Mahanadu at his home district.
He called upon the rank and file to participate in huge numbers and make the foundation day of the party a grand success.
Referring to Special Status, he said that the TDP would work along with the BJP at the Centre in a friendly manner and would avoid any estrangement.
He said that the TDP would be a responsible Opposition party in Telangana, and would fight for the peoples' causes.
