Government whip R Mohan, on Thursday, condemned Minor Irrigation Minister T G Venkatesh for criticising Congress president Sonia Gandhi.
Talking to reporters in the Assembly premises, Mohan said that Venkatesh did not maintain the honour and respect given to him by the party by elevating him to a minister's post. He said that by criticising Sonia Gandhi, Venkatesh had crossed all limits. He said that the Congress party should take stern action against him at the earliest.
Mohan also condemned the Samaikyandhra protests, and said that agitations are usually held for separation and not for keeping the tate united. (INN)
