NIMS Director Dr L Ravindranath on Monday claimed that the swine flu outbreak was now completely under control.
Speaking to media persons, Dr Ravindranath said that the awareness created among the people and the steps taken by the state government have helped in controlling the spread of the disease.
He said that there was no shortage of swine flu medicines, and that about 28,000 kits were available with the authorities.
He informed that Health Minister C Laxma Reddy had reviewed the swine flu situation with the officials, and that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao too had been receiving updates on the same.
Dr Ravindranath said that as per the directions of the Chief Minister, the common people were also being apprised of the situation. (INN)
