In a shocking turn of events that would make this look straight out of theonion.com, self-proclaimed godman Nityananda has said that he is not a man at all.
In a highly innovative twist in the ongoing battle between him and the law-enforcement agencies, the swami has upped the ante by asking how, when he is not a male at all, anyone can say that he participated in sexual acts with Tamil actress Rajitha or with anyone else. He added that nothing involving him and any woman can be deemed sexual since he is not of the opposite sex to women at all.
Stumped by this claim, the investigating officers are thinking of ways to climb out of this new hole they find themselves in. Of course, basics first - they are going to have Nityananda tested for impotence in a hospital. But whatever the allegations against him Nityananda is still no ordinary man - there are reports about how
he can completely shut his brain down when he wants. And so tests by doctors can prove futile if the swami chooses to use the superior approaches he is reported to be capable of.
The swami has apparently cured some officers handling him, too. It will be interesting to see where this investigation goes, and if his hunters too turn his followers.
